The next meeting of Member States to discuss a potential Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), the Open Ended Working Group (OEWG), will take place from 12 - 23 July 2010 under the chairmanship of Argentina. 2 week sessions on the ATT are being convened each year until the 4 week conference scheduled for 2012.

In addition, shortly before the OEWG, UNIDIR and the League of Arab States will be holding a regional seminar on the ATT in Cairo, from 29 - 30 June.
